As a musician, what has performing live taught you about your ability to influence others?
It’s taught me that for however long your performance is you have the opportunity and the responsibility to spread joy and inspire people.
What was it like performing with Fonseca in NYC? How did the two of you meet?
Performing with Fonseca in NY and on tour in general was surreal. It was an incredible feeling to join forces every night to perform our version of “Por Pura Curiosidad” We met at a wedding in Mexico City and have been friends ever since!
What have you enjoyed most about this collaboration?
This collaboration has created so many opportunities that I never would have been able to experience otherwise including touring with Fonseca and reaching new fans all over the world that follow him.
At the end of the day, what do you hope is the message your music projects?
My message as a songwriter and a performer is to promote positivity and to live passionately.
How do you find the balance between managing your career and your personal life?
It takes discipline. As much as I’m working on my music I try to work equally as hard on my relationships because life is about enjoying it with the ones you love.
Can you share with us, what projects are you are currently working on?
I’m releasing new music and videos every six weeks. The music video for my latest release “Best Life” was just shot on a boat in Miami and is coming out soon. I also have a monthly residency that I’m producing in Brooklyn, NY at the Freehold called “Le Trumpet” which is on the last Friday of Jan, Feb and March.
