This 2.0 version expands on his mission to celebrate and reinvent the lush, baroque essence of Latin American balada music, Quesada sets the tone with the album’s first single, Ojos Secos, a stirring collaboration with LA-based singer-songwriter Cuco.
Drenched in longing and nostalgia, Ojos Secos channels the heartache of a love that has reached its inevitable end. Cuco’s hauntingly tender vocals weave through Quesada’s masterful production, evoking the golden era of bolero while infusing it with a contemporary edge.
