Global superstar Shakira continues one of the most successful chapters of her career after receiving six nominations at Premios Juventud 2026, recognizing her recent collaborations, chart-topping music, and the overwhelming success of the “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” World Tour.
Since the inaugural Premios Juventud in 2004, Shakira has established herself as the most awarded artist in the history of the ceremony, earning an impressive 31 Premios Juventud throughout her career. Organized annually by TelevisaUnivision, the awards celebrate excellence in Hispanic entertainment across music, television and streaming, and digital and social media, with winners determined through fan voting.

PREMIOS JUVENTUD HEADS TO SPAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME
The 23rd edition of Premios Juventud will make history on September 3 as the awards ceremony travels outside the Americas for the first time, taking place in Marbella, Spain, at the iconic Starlite Amphitheater. The event will headline PJ Fest, a weeklong celebration of Latin music, culture, and entertainment, bringing together many of the industry’s biggest stars in one of Europe’s most picturesque destinations.
As always, the winners of Premios Juventud will be decided by fans. Public voting is now open through August 11 on premiosjuventud.com/vota, giving audiences the opportunity to support their favorite artists across all 50 categories before the winners are announced live on September 3.
Premios Juventud has become one of the most prestigious celebrations of Latin entertainment, recognizing the artists, actors, creators, and influencers shaping Hispanic culture. The 2026 ceremony will be broadcast live across the United States on Univision platforms, on Univision, UniMás, Galavisión, ViX, and YouTube, reaching millions of viewers worldwide and continuing its tradition of connecting millions of fans with their favorite stars.
LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN WORLD TOUR CONTINUES TO BREAK RECORDS
The nominations arrive as Shakira celebrates another milestone with the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which recently concluded its highly successful North American leg with back-to-back performances at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York on July 23, followed by Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on July 25.
The global tour supports “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” record, Shakira’s twelfth studio album, released in March 2024. The Grammy Award-winning project for Best Latin Pop Album produced several international hits, including “Te Felicito” featuring Rauw Alejandro, “Monotonía” with Ozuna, “Copa Vacía” with Manuel Turizo, and “Puntería” featuring Cardi B.
While Shakira stands among this year’s leading nominees, the 2026 edition of Premios Juventud also recognizes many of Latin music’s biggest stars. Regional Mexican powerhouse Carín León is nominated for his acclaimed De Sonora, Para El Mundo Tour and multiple collaborations, while Karol G, Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Alejandro Sanz, Anitta, and Romeo Santos are also among the standout nominees across music, touring, and collaboration categories.
