Karol G and her Con Cora Foundation held their inaugural benefit charity gala, Con Cora Land, on Saturday, February 22, at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami. The fundraising event supported the foundation’s Casa Con Cora initiative, which empowers thousands of women to pursue their dreams by providing a safe space for personal, professional, artistic, and creative growth, along with essential psychological and legal support, all while elevating the vibrant essence of family and Latin culture.

The evening featured captivating performances on a thoughtfully curated waterfront stage, with Nelly Furtado delivering an intimate acoustic set of “Say It Right,” “Maneater,” and “I’m Like a Bird” while Ricardo Montaner closed the night with a deeply emotional full-band performance, featuring hits such as “La Cima del Cielo,” “Me Va a Extrañar,” and “Bésame,” delivering an unforgettable finale. Con Cora Land delivered a night to remember, immersing attendees in a series of dynamic experiences, such as the participation of DJ Deleasa.

“When we came in and defined our mission, we knew we wanted to extend this blessing to other women because, from our position, we’ve seen firsthand how difficult it has been,” expressed Karol G, founder of the Con Cora Foundation as she thanked attendees for their support. “I feel very proud, and we are going to work so that every woman at home, thinking and dreaming of something but feeling like she doesn’t have the opportunity, knows that at the very least, we are doing something here to help them build a future for tomorrow.”

“It gives me great pride to be here tonight at our first benefit gala,” said Valentina Bueno, Executive Director of the Con Cora Foundation. “Our foundation and its impact in these three years of existence are living testimony to this, showing that the family environment becomes an ally of progress because when we come together and support each other around the commitment to build a better world, the impact transcends and multiplies.”

Among the event’s activations was a market village, designed to support Latina women entrepreneurs by providing them with the tools and resources they need to continue turning their ideas into solid and lasting projects. Through Con Cora Land, the foundation fostered an environment where these entrepreneurs found networking opportunities, growth, and visibility. Attendees were able to explore various initiatives, including jewelry, crochet, ceramics, and more, all born from the hard work and passion of Latina entrepreneurs.

Guests had the opportunity to make a direct impact through a live auction led by Yve Rojas, featuring exclusive items and experiences, including a “Mañana Será Bonito” artwork by Esther Moya Gonzalez signed by Karol G, a VIP experience at the US Open, a curated dining experience at CasaDonna, a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece by Colombian luxury designer Johanna Ortiz, and a luxury African safari. Supporters worldwide can continue contributing through an ongoing online auction open until March 12. To take part in the online auction, click here. All proceeds will go toward the foundation’s initiative, Casa Con Cora.

The Con Cora Foundation introduced an exciting way to give back through its “Every Dollar Counts” initiative. For each dollar donated, participants earned entries into a raffle for a chance to win a pair of tickets to Con Cora Land. Winners were announced on February 13 via the foundation’s Instagram account (@concorafoundation) and had the opportunity to attend the event.
