Simpson Ahuevo, one of the most authentic voices in Mexican rap and a proud native of Hermosillo, Sonora, celebrates a new milestone in his career with his appearance on one of the iconic screens of Times Square, New York, this Friday, November 7. This announcement comes during a busy week for the artist, who also unveiled two new singles — “Semana Diabla” and “El Sol” — and confirmed his participation in Festival Pa’l Norte 2026, where he will share the stage with international acts including Interpol.
“El Gabacho” will be available on all digital platforms starting November 21, ushering in a new phase in Simpson’s career — one that embraces a more international sound while preserving his signature northern essence and sharp lyrical identity.
Following the success of Sr. Ahuevo, Simpson returns with a more mature and introspective project that fuses the grit of desert rap, the warmth of coastal sunsets, and stories deeply rooted in his people, his origins, and his territory. Máster del Noro is a declaration of identity, craft, and regional pride — a sonic landscape that travels from street boom-bap to beachside reggaetón, building an honest and emotional musical universe.
Tracks such as “Cenizas,” “Seis Ceros,” “El Sol,” “Mi Sangre,” and “Noro Siete” explore different dimensions of his life: family, nostalgia, celebration, and the pursuit of freedom. Through this new album, Simpson reclaims “the Noro” — a way of life defined by resilience, humor, and authenticity — reaffirming his place as one of the leading voices in contemporary Mexican hip-hop.
Simpson Ahuevo also joined Molotov’s 30th anniversary tour, performing across multiple U.S. cities. This experience strengthened his bond with Latino audiences abroad and marked a new chapter in his international projection.

NEW SINGLES: “SEMANA DIABLA” AND “EL SOL”
“Semana Diabla” captures the spirit of weekends in northern Mexico — a breather after the workweek to reconnect with friends, hit the beach, and celebrate life. With a laid-back and festive energy, Simpson blends local references and everyday moments with a clear message: leave the stress behind and enjoy the moment.
“El Sol”, on the other hand, channels the energy of the beach — heat, music, and spontaneous attraction. The track combines an urban beat with fresh, tropical textures, evoking that feeling of connection and freedom that defines nights by the sea.
