Pitbull delivered one of the biggest live music moments of 2026, making history at BST Hyde Park with not one, but two record-breaking achievements during his sold-out headline performance on July 10.

The global superstar drew 69,999 fans, setting the highest recorded attendance for a BST Hyde Park concert. Before taking the stage, he also earned an official Guinness World Records™ title for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps, with an independently verified count of 22,141 participants.

The record-setting celebration transformed London’s iconic Hyde Park into a sea of Pitbull lookalikes—fans affectionately known as the “Bald-Es” all wearing bald caps, sunglasses, and sharp suits in tribute to the artist’s unmistakable style.

The official count was led by BBC Radio 1 host Greg James, while Guinness World Records Adjudicator Will Munford presented Pitbull with the framed certificate on stage.

An emotional Pitbull accepted the recognition moments before opening his concert.

“This is history in the making,” he said. “Thank you London, thank you to the fans, thank you Hyde Park, thank you Baldies.

Reflecting on his journey, the Miami-born artist, also known as Mr. Worldwide, Mr. 305, and Armando Christian Pérez, shared a deeply personal message.

Opening the show with “Don’t Stop the Party,” Pitbull wasted no time igniting the energy of the 69,999-person crowd. Over the next two hours, he delivered a hit-filled set featuring fan favorites including “Hotel Room Service,” “International Love,” “I Feel Good,” “Feel This Moment,” and “Booty.”

As he stepped onto the stage, Pitbull paused to acknowledge the significance of the moment.

“I’m just taking it all in. It’s hard for me to say I’m speechless. But all I can think of right now is what my family went through in order for me to be able to be someone free.”

The sold-out concert featured several unforgettable collaborations.

Lil Jon joined Pitbull for energetic performances including “Gasolina,” “Jumpin’,” and “Damn I Love Miami,” while Kesha appeared to perform the global smash “Timber.” The celebration continued with “Time of Our Lives,” before “Fireball,” featuring Los Tucanes de Tijuana, brought another explosive moment to the Hyde Park stage.

In one of the evening’s most unexpected highlights, Pitbull surprised the London audience with a rendition of “Wonderwall” as a tribute to England and its football supporters before closing the night with “Give Me Everything,” accompanied by fireworks and a spectacular festival finale.

An All-Star Festival Lineup

BST Hyde Park featured an impressive lineup of artists celebrating the biggest hits of the 2000s.

Kesha energized the crowd with performances of “TiK ToK,” “Only Love Can Save Us Now,” “Sleazy,” and “Joyride,” while joking about the thousands of fans dressed like Pitbull. “Do you know how psychotic it is to see an ocean of my friend Pitbull? It’s psychotic.”

She also reflected on her career as an independent artist.

“I’m a free woman… and as an independent artist, it means everything to me to be playing one of the biggest festivals in London.”

British rapper Tinie Tempah had the audience singing along to classics including “Pass Out,” “Written in the Stars,” and “Miami 2 Ibiza,” humorously acknowledging the sea of bald caps. Meanwhile, Lil Jon delivered a high-energy DJ-inspired set featuring hip-hop anthems including “Yeah,” “Crank That,” “Hollaback Girl,” and “Sweet Caroline.”

Opening the Great Oak Stage, Los Tucanes de Tijuana brought regional Mexican music to one of London’s most prestigious festivals, performing favorites such as “Espejeando,” “La Chica Sexy,” and “Jugo a la Vida.” Additional performances throughout the festival included Tia Kofi, Mae Hill, Sanity, and Pitbull’s Globalization DJs, creating a full day of music before the record-breaking headlining performance.

A Career That Continues to Break Barriers

Pitbull’s historic night at BST Hyde Park adds another milestone to a career defined by global success, cultural influence, and an unwavering message of perseverance.

With 69,999 fans setting a new attendance record and 22,141 “Bald-Es” earning a Guinness World Records title, the event became much more than a concert, it was a celebration of unity, diversity, and the worldwide community Pitbull has built throughout his career.

For one unforgettable night in London, Mr. Worldwide lived up to his name once again, proving that music has the power to bring tens of thousands of people together, and even make history while doing it.

Later in the show, he reminded the audience of music’s universal power: “Music unites, it doesn’t divide. Music brings us together. When you look at it closely, there’s only one race, and that is the human race.”
