José Madero Vizcaíno, also known as Pepe Madero, presents Querido… in its entirety today, his seventh studio album, a 13-track project of previously unreleased songs that opens a new chapter in his career as a solo artist and delves deeper into a narrative shaped by mystery, emotion, theatricality, and vulnerability.

The album is now available on all digital platforms and will soon be released in CD and vinyl formats. With a conceptual approach that blends the epistolary and medieval, Querido… weaves a shared narrative throughout its 13 compositions, exploring different shades of emotion and presenting imagery that reinforces Madero’s creative universe.

The project’s visual aesthetic also continues the color tradition the singer-songwriter has developed throughout his solo career, using color as a distinctive element in the identity of each album. This time, green dominates the cover and visual universe of Querido…

The announcement of the new album began, true to Madero’s style, surrounded by mystery. The artist initially revealed the existence of the project without sharing its title, cover art, or release date, sparking all kinds of theories among his followers. He later unveiled the official tracklist and shared several previews across his social media profiles, allowing the music to speak for itself until the full reveal of Querido…

One of the album’s highlights is Madero’s reunion with Adrián “Rojo” Treviño, the producer with whom he helped shape part of the sound of his career prior to going solo. The collaboration marks a return to a visceral sound that is part of the artist’s musical identity, while the album also showcases his versatility as a songwriter.

On Querido…, Madero also explores different musical elements, including acoustic songs and string arrangements, with the intention of deepening the emotional weight of each composition. Among them is “Arrópame,” the project’s first focus track, where the singer takes his delivery toward a crooner style, showcasing a different side of his vocal ability.

The music video for “Arrópame” also premiered on September 3, just a few hours after the album arrived on digital platforms.

Unlike other projects, Querido… does not feature any collaborations or additional vocals. This decision reinforces the intimate nature of an album built around Madero’s voice, songwriting, and artistic vision, as he enters a stage of full maturity within his solo career.

The release arrives just two days after the artist’s birthday, completing a particularly personal cycle. From its concept to its music and aesthetic, Querido… invites listeners to immerse themselves in a universe where each song functions as a piece of a larger puzzle.

With Querido…, José Madero reaffirms his place as one of the most distinctive songwriters in contemporary music, once again embracing an album conceived as a complete experience. More than a collection of songs, the project offers a journey through different emotional states and a narrative universe that invites listeners to discover new meanings with every listen.

“Querido…” is now available on all digital platforms.
